I was hoping that our friends Kristen and Will would get to adopt him (so we could come visit) but the rescue received an approved application for him before they could get one in so Abner will be moving to Homosassa, FL if everything goes well on Thursday when he meets his new potential mommy! I had the chance to speak with his potential new mommy yesterday and she sounded very sweet and has a 9 month old beagle girl who is excited about having a new brother! This made my day and gave me all the feels last night:

I think one of the hard parts of being a foster parent is trusting that your pup will go to a loving and caring home but I have no doubt he will be in good hands! It feels amazing to have been able to help sweet little Abner in his transition to find his forever home. ♥ ♥ ♥
